Food and Drinks Asia Cooking Challenge 2013
“The 2nd Chef Bert Francisco Culinary Cup”
With the success of the 1st Chef Bert Francisco Culinary Cup, once again, the Hotel and Restaurant Chefs Association of the Philippines (HRCAP) and LNA Management, have teamed up for another year of challenging competition as they invite everyone to visit the
“Food and Drinks Asia Cooking Challenge 2013”- THE 2nd CHEF BERT FRANCISCO CULINARY CUP with the theme: “Classical Filipino Cuisine With A Twist”, to be held on September 7, 2013, 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Food and Drinks Asia 2013, World Trade Center, Pasay City.
This year will be a milestone for HRCAP and LNA Management as they will be working hand-in-hand with the Department of Tourism in upholding the Filipino Cuisine through the promotion of Food Tourism in the country.

HRCAP Unveils a New Logo
HRCAP will be celebrating its 20th year in the industry next year, March 9, 2014. And to mark the beginning of its celebration, this year, HRCAP will be launching its new logo, symbolizing more on its commitment in upholding the Filipino chefs’ role in the industry.
Still headed by HRCAP interim President and Chairman, Chef Roberto P. Francisco, the new set of officers are as follows: Chef Dennis Peralta, Vice President; Chef Roger C. Sumalpong, Corporate Secretary; Chef Antonio R. Gantioqui, Treasurer; and Chef Manuel N. Nario, Member of the Board.
Also to signify the on-set of a new and better HRCAP, a set of new breed of chefs will be having a general assembly on May 18 of this year to elect new set of officers. Strengthening the purpose of bringing-in a fresh start to more years ahead for HRCAP of continually innovating, empowering and uniting past and new generation professional chefs in the country.
